Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description

Ledgent is currently partnering with a client located in the Denver Tech Center who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage full-cycle AR responsibilities, from billing and cash application to collections and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of AR experience and prior hands-on experience with NetSuite. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative finance team and contribute to improving cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle: invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances with professionalism and persistence.
  • Research and resolve customer billing issues and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized AR records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Assist with month-end close activities related to AR, including reporting and reconciliations.
  • Support audit requests and internal process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounts receivable experience.
  • Prior experience working with NetSuite ERP is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
